Plyometrics are over used and often applied wrongly in the USA to training. ![]() ![]() combine it with dynamic exercise like power cleans,deadlifts,glute ham raise etc. Get John Peterson's book " Isometric Power Revolution" to learn more. Anytime you train the fast twitch fibers and increase motor unit activation you increase your potential to be faster or jump higher etc. Isometrics trains your fast twitch fibers and not much else. Isometrics is the best way to train for strength and is 32% more effective then dynamic training for strength gains. Isometrics will make you faster and allow you to jump higher as well.
